Kompakt, JSC has fulfilled the entire complex of works for the first stage of construction, from project development to the facility commissioning. The complexity of the project resulted from a mandatory requirement for the reconstruction process — operation of the Pulkovo-2 airport in terms of passage and servicing of passengers shall not have been interrupted even for a single day. Appearance of the buildings is formed by a system of ventilated fronts, made of Alpolic composite material and several thousands square meters of glass. Over a hundred non-standard reinforced concrete columns with the height up to 14 meters simultaneously form a part of the building framework and elements of the interior. Integrated approach and state-of-the-art coordination of subcontractors activities allowed for high quality and timely completion of works for the first stage of international airportcomplex construction.
